U12s to Croke Parke:

The U12 Granagh/Ballingarry Hurlers will have the honour of playing in Croke Park on Monday August 13th.   They will play three matches against Ballea from Clare, Fr. O'Neill's, Cork and Cashel, Tipperary.   To help finance the trip and deck them out a fun table quiz is being organised for this Friday 27th July, Condron's Bar, Ballingarry at 9.30pm.   Many thanks for the donations already received and we look forward to seeing you Friday night.   Table of 4 for €20.      

 

KNOCK:

Tuesday  August 21st is the 133rd Anniversary of Our Lady's appearance in Knock.   It is proposed that a pilgrimage will leave Granagh Church at 2pm.

You will have the opportunity for your own private prayers then everyone will participate in the evening Mass at 8.30pm and afterwards join the Torchlight Procession, after Mass.    It is important to book now as the numbers interested will decide if pilgrimage goes ahead.   Please contact Kathleen at 087 - 2833804.

 

BABY  GIRL:

Congratulations to Breda and Jim Sheahan on the birth of their little girl Sophie.   Hopefully her stay in hospital will be a short one.  

 

Upcoming Event:

Lady Harrington is facilitating a Fun Ride & Walk in aid of the Dialysis Unit, Limerick Regional Hospital, Saturday 11th August.

Meeting point Ballygrennan Farm, Ballingarry, at 3.00pm sharp.  Walkers will be given a route map and can choose a route to suit, entry fee for adults €10 and Children €3.   The riders will take a five mile route, no jumps and entry fee for adults €20, children €10.                      Teas afterwards at Ballygrennan Farm.   All welcome to participate for a very worthy cause.
