CHOMHBHRÓN:

We extend our sympathies to the families of Mary Ellen McMahon ( nee Brosnan) Coolruss, who was laid to rest on Friday 28th Oct,

in her ninety third year.

She is deeply regretted by her five daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and neighbours.   Mary Ellen was

very much involved in parish life, she was a member of the ICA,  the Choir , the Apostolic Society and was an avid supporter of  all the activities held in theHall.     A lady to the core, who will be sadly missed.   Go raibh leaba í measc na Naomh aici.  

BENEFIT  NIGHT:

Saturday November 19th:    You may remember hearing about a Jonathan Ryan, Bruff, who fell from a tree and as a result

is paralyzed from the neck down.   He happens to be a first cousin of Susie Butlers'  and she is organising a cake sale to help with the expenses involved in adapting his home for a wheelchair.   He has three year old twins and another baby due to be born shortly.

He is expected home from rehab on 22nd Dec and will stay with his uncle until his own home is ready.   Susie would be delighted to

receive help on the night and all home baking will be great fully accepted.   She can be contacted on 087- 9873379.

GRANAGH  DEV. ASSOC:

Computer Course:     Ballyhoura Development have informed me that all their classes are booked up until Christmas, so our next

opportunity to start would be the end of January , or beginning of February  if weather conditions are bad again.   At that stage the

classes would be in the evenings, for two hours and suitable for those with a small bit or no knowledge  at all of computers.

It will be a six week course at a cost of €15 per person.   I have seven names at the moment but would need a minimum of twelve.
