DANCE CAMP:
The Development Association ran a very successful Mid~Term Dance/Drama Camp for three days last week.
Many thanks to the children for taking part so enthusiastically and to their wonderful instructor Lisa Cahill. It was a fabulous opportunity to get to work with a professional dancer and was a totally new experience for the children, not like any dance camps they had done before. It was all to do with movement, expression and thinking outside the box.
Between 14 and 18 children attended, numbers varied depending on dentist app/ birthday parties etc. !
Ages went from ten to fifteen and it ran for two hours, Wed, Thur and Friday .
They put on an exhibition for the parents Friday, and everyone was very impressed with the amount that had
been done in the three days. Video on mylocalnews.ie for parents who could not be there.
We thank Ballyhoura Development for their help in making it possible to run this course.
