We had a great crowd and a great evening of dancing with  Denis and Christy - ' The Marina' .   Thanks to the Cake sale we bought some delicious pastries  for our dancers and Nora Mulqueen  also baked a tray of  her coffee squares, for the teas.   No one left hungry anyway.!
Amongst our dancers was Doris Shire, Mungret, the well known singer who entertained us with a few songs.    Best wishes also to
Ita McQuaid who celebrated her birthday recently.   Thanks to all our helpers on the day, much appreciated.    The Christmas dance will
be held on 18th December with music by Pakie Moloney & Seamus Sheehy.

BANOGUE  DRAMA:
Mary Liston, cast and crew are over the first weekend and are delighted everything has gone so well.   You can see allot of work has been put into it and the result is a very well produced production, that tells a sad story intermingled with comedy and hilarious characters.   Members of Granagh Players have attended and reported back that it was excellent.    So the rest of us are  eagerly looking forward  to seeing it.

An invitation from Lisa Cahill to an upcoming performance of the Limerick based, newly formed integrated dance company, Spoken Dance.
This company began from a community based dance class that was facilitated by the County Arts Office and the Irish Wheelchair Assoc, at
University of Limerick since 2005.
In their new work, ' Getting to Know You '  the dancers abilities are challenged through a process that explores how they can be still and also move together with and without wheels.   Spoken Dance will perform their new work in  three upcoming performances.

GERRY  DUFFY:
He spoke in Rathkeale on Monday night and was absolutely brilliant.   If ever he is giving a talk in the area again,  all I can say is - do not miss it
and bring your children to hear him, his story is inspirational.
