ASSOC:
Tea Dance: We had
a lovely evening Sunday last at our first dance and it was great to see all our
regular dancers back after the summer break. Liam
O'Sullivan provided the music which kept everyone on the floor.
Thanks to our usual helpers who were back on duty
again. Sincere thanks to the ladies who provided the most delicious
pastries which you were highly complimented on. Many thanks to
the dancers who brought spot prizes with them and to Liam for including his
Cd. Looking forward to our next date, Sunday Nov. 20th, music by '
The Marina'.
This year Marian set up a book-swap corner for any of
our dancers who are interested in reading.
Fitness: Eight
more classes go with Aoife. Feel free to
join us on Tuesday mornings 10am to

important these days to be able to use a computer
fully, whether it is searching the web for information, linking up with family
on skype, booking holidays, typing up C.Vs, e-mailing, loading photos or
tweeting ! Once you become familiar with it, the more you
will use it.
Grow your
Own: We also have four names for garden
classes, so get texting names to Mary 087 - 9139902.

Creative through Movement and Dance. ! We will have a three day camp on 2nd , 3rd,
& 4th of Nov, in the community centre, 10.30am to
12.30pm.
We were lucky to acquire the services of Lisa
Cahill, a Limerick based dance and drama artist who performs throughout the
country and
works with many youth theatre
groups. Places are limited , max of
fifteen in the class, so if interested please text Mary
087-9139902.
Kindly supported by Ballyhoura
Development . We are only charging €4 per
person, for the three days.
COMMUNITY GAMES:
Annual General Meeting:
Ballingarry/Granagh Community Games will hold their AGM
on Wed the 19th Oct, 2011 at 8.30pm in the Hall Granagh.
Community Games provide opportunities for children and young people to experience sport and cultural activities in a fun and positive way. We are unique in that we are participation based rather than competitive. Our participants have fun, make friends and try out different activities like Art, Swimming, Rugby, Indoor Soccer, Choir, Draughts, Athletics and many more.
We always welcome new participants. It’s a great way to help young people make friends and give something back to the community.
If your child/children wish to take part in any of these activities, come along to the meeting, we need more parents to give their time to keep the community games active in our parish.
