Local Notes 7th & 8th July

COMHBHRÓN:


We extend our sincere sympathies to Eileen Houlihan, the family and relations on the recent death of Ned.

A great community supporter and gentleman to the core. Very large crowds attended over the two days and

Fr. Liam along with a number of his classmates and fellow priests concelebrated the mass.

GRANAGH UTD. F.C:

Lotto Results.

There was no winner in the lotto draw this week. Next week's Jackpot € 7,500.

Numbers drawn were 4, 15, 24, 27.

Lucky dip winners of €20 each went to :- Cyril Mullen, Granagh, Janet O'Brien, Castletown, Donal O'Brien, Ballynoe.

Next weeks draw takes place in Hickey's Bar, Croom.

The A.G.M. will be held in the community centre Granagh on Monday night the 12th of July at 8.00pm sharp.



PARENTS ASSOC:



Last autumn a very informative and interesting course was held in the Community Centre on Parenting Skills. This September a

follow-up course is commencing on 9th Sept for ten nights ( two hours per night). The facilitator is Con O'Sullivan, Author and

Lecturer. This is a stand alone course so it is not necessary to have attended last years. All are welcome, whether you are a

parent of young toddlers, school goers or teenagers. Cost of course last year was €30 and is expected to be similar this year.
