local notes 30th Sept and 1st Oct

WEDDING:

Congratulations and Best Wishes are extended to Mary O'Carroll, Liskennett and Thomas Lynch, Ballingarry, on their recent wedding
celebration. From beginning to end it was a marvelous day, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Chief celebrant was Fr. Rob McNamara,
who made the ceremony so joyful and his concelebrants were Fr. Lane, Fr. John Duggan and Fr. Gerard O'Leary. The Bridesmaids,
dressed in lilac were Debbie Mullins, Orla White and Annmarie Keyes. The Bestman was Patrick O'Carroll ably assisted by Shane Doherty
and Padraig O'Sullivan. The little flower girl was Naoise Boyce. The beautiful music throughout the ceremony was provided by ' Ceol Eile' ,
Castletown. The happy couple are wished many years of Health and Happiness to enjoy their married life together.

U16 CHOIR:
COMMUNITY GAMES:


After the wonderful achievements of last years' group, we are now recruiting new members. If you can sing, we need you.!

It's a fact, that many of today's popular singers started off their careers by singing in the local choirs.! !
Also, they are looking for a volunteer to make a set of steps so that the choir can practice their entrances & exits as they will have to do
in competition. Please contact either of the two ladies.


PARENTS ASSOC:

The A.G.M. of the National School Parents' Association will take place in the Community Centre on this Wednesday 30th Sept., at 8.00pm.
Of course, they would like to have more new members which would be beneficial for both parents and children. It will not take
up too much time as they meet just once a month, for an hour.

HIP-HOP CLASSES:

There will be one more meeting at the Hall on Wednesday 30th, at 8.00pm. If we do not have enough numbers to run the class, we will
cancel it altogether.

SHANAVOTHA GRAVEYARD:

The committee are organising a clean-up on this coming Saturday 3rd Oct at 1.00 pm. All helpers welcome.

ROLLING BACK THE YEARS:

A Concert will be held in Knockaderry Community Centre on 9th & 10th October presented by the ' original ' Monegea Macra Na Feirme
members and friends. They are getting together, after twenty five years, to present a grand variety show which will include snippets
of their Macra shows, plenty Comedy and songs from Grease, Mamma Mia, High School Musical.

There was no lotto draw made this week, as help to do the lotto is very limited. If we don`t get some more volunteers, we will have
to seriously consider ending it.
For anyone who purchased a ticket don`t worry your ticket will go in to next weeks draw.
