The newly formed Limerick Theatre Hub will be presenting four unique pieces of theatre, each running for two weeks. The first presentation
' Excess Baggage' is written by Mary Coll and Directed by Joan Sheehy. It is a witty take on Chaucer's ' Wife of Bath' from the Canterbury Tales.
The writer was interested in seeing what Alice - the Wife of Bath, would be like if she were transported to the 21st century. As a result, we see
Alice, who is an expert on men, marriage and love - transported to a Ryanair Departure Lounge where she tells her story.
