CEMETERY MASS:

Mass will be held in Granagh Cemetery on Monday 6th at 8.00pm.
There will be a final tidy up on tomorrow night, Thursday 4th, from 7pm.

PARENTS' COUNCIL:

Granagh National School Parents' Association will now hold their church-gate collection on the weekend of 5th and 6th July.
They are collecting for funds to cover the annual insurance and registration fees. There was an error in dates last week.

RATHFREDAGH:

Don't forget the Annual Garden Fete at the Cheshire Home on Sunday 5th July at 1.00pm. They hope to raise as much as possible,
to help with their running costs.

Lotto results:
There was no winner of the €4,800 in the lotto draw this week.
Numbers drawn were 1.7.23.27
Lucky dip winners of €20 each were David Stapleton Granagh, Rebecca Moynihan Athlacca, Margaret Kelly Bruree.
Next weeks jackpot is €4,900.

The A.G.M. was held last Thursday 25th in the Community Centre. Along with the three officers there were only eleven people present, which was
disappointing for a club that has such a large membership. They would have liked to see more parents and junior players in attendance.
Secretary, Kevin Clifford gave a rundown on a very successful season and thanked the managers and everyone who helped out in any way.
The club had four underage teams and three of them brought home silver, which was a fantastic achievement.
The U10s were pipped at the post this time and were runners up in the Shield final, but they will be back.! The U12s with two games to go were winners
in their group. The U14s had a runaway season, won all their games and were outright winners with three games to go.
For the U16s, things went a bit pear shaped this year, as they were down a manager for a while. However, there is a good squad for next season.
The following managers have volunteered their services for next season :- U6 & U8 - Seamus Murphy & Jimmy Sheehy.
U10: - Kevin & Niall Clifford. U12: - Jimmy Sheehy & Timmy Cotter. U14; - Denis Noonan & Steven O'Brien. U16;- Kevin Clifford & Joe Condon.
Juniors: - David Stapleton & Pat Fitzgibbon.
Each manager will be responsible for collecting the registration forms and insurance from each player, which have to be sent in before the season kicks
off or else the club will be fined. The following are the fees per member, which also include insurance :- U6/U8 - E 15. U10 - E 15. U12 - E 20.
U14 - E 25. U16 - E 25.
Kevin requested some extra help with cutting the field and the following volunteered, Mikey O'Keeffe, Mark Tierney and Richard O'Donoghue. Many thanks to
Seamus O'Brien, Seamus Murphy and Jimmy Sheehy who have been doing this all along and to Patrick Leahy for the use of his equipment.
The Club hope to run the Parish League again, on an evening in July this time, more details later.
Finally the officers stressed that they will need as much help as possible, to run the club successfully.
