YOUTH CHOIR:
The Choir met last Thursday in Ballingarry, but times clashed with camogie training, so there were a good number missing.   This week, as a once off, if all those interested in joining the youth choir, could meet in Granagh Community centre at 6.00pm, Friday 21st.   Depending on numbers interested, a decision can  then be made whether or not to go ahead with the choir.    All welcome from 3rd class upwards.   Please contact  Susie   on 087- 9873379 for further information.
DRAMA:
Our own Joan Sheehy will be performing in the Belltable on Saturday 22nd, for one night only,  in ' Woman and Scarecrow ' by Marina Carr.  She is joined by Noelle Brown, Geraldine Plunkett and Mark O' Regan and director is Geoff Gould.   Not to be missed.
NEVER  TOO OLD! : 
To celebrate Positive Ageing Week, Ballyhoura Rural Services will host a conference in Charleville Park Hotel on Wednesday 26th Sept.   The theme is ' Never too Old, Never too Young ' and will involve workshops, exhibitor stands and key speakers.   The keynote speech will be delivered by Mr. John Lonergan and they will also have Mr. Seamus Boland of the GROW community mental health network.    For further details and booking contact, Kay Kennedy, tel. 061-383666. kkennedy@ballyhourruralservices.org
