LIBRARIES:
Mobile Library visiting Granagh this Friday 25th, between 12pm & 12.30pm, in front of the Church. This is a free service from Limerick County Council.
Ballingarry Library: Opening times - Wednesdays: 1.00pm - 5.30pm & 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Thursdays: 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

The sports day could not be run without the support of all our volunteers and we are most thankful to all who helped out. Also many thanks to Granagh Soccer club for the use of their facilities.
Church Gate Collection: We held a very successful collection at both churches last weekend . Many thanks to all who donated and to those that manned the tables.
Athlone Bound: Next weekend sees a number of children from the parish head off to Athlone to represent Limerick in the National Finals. We have two draughts teams , our u/10 and u/12 teams will be competing to secure national honours for us . To their trainers Breda and Mike and both teams we wish them the very best of luck and most importantly that they enjoy the occasion. Also Sean O Connor is competing in cross country running and Eoin and Niall Sheahan compete in the Art Competition. Safe journey to all who travel and we will be thinking of ye.

MOTOR CROSS:
On Sunday June 3rd an official round of the motor cross grass track championship race will be held in Billy Riordan’s farm in Tullig, Templeglantine. Hosting the event is the southern MX club which is a representative of Munster, the club is affiliated to the YMSA which is one of the largest motor cross clubs in the UK. On the day practice is at 12pm and races commence at 1pm, some of the top riders from all over Munster and overseas competitors will battle it out for championship points on various types of machines from Blaster Quads , Quads up to 750 cc, kids automatic motor cross bikes up to the highly tuned 500cc motor cross . So don’t miss the excitement , admission €5 , kids are free at the gate. Lots of family entertainment on the day with bouncy castles , face painting , etc and the highlight of the off- field activities is the intense local rivalry in the tug-of-war.!
JUST ROSES: Congratulations to Alan Whetham ( ex Granagh Garden Centre) and Josie McMahon, Kilfinane on their new venture as Munster's only specialist Rose Centre.

Sunday 17th June: Visit Lady Harrington's Garden , in aid of Kilpeacon Church Fund and Granagh Development Association. Adults €5, Children free. Jams, Eggs, Plants, Fruit etc for sale on the day and finish off with complimentary teas/pastries in the courtyard.
