Granagh Utd A 2 - St Itas 0
Scorers for Granagh Darragh Clifford & and o/g.
Team:- Eoin Enright (goals), Josh Lynch Raftery, James Stapleton, Shane Scully, Sean Murphy, Shane Collins, Rory Condon, Ryan Fitzgibbon & Daragh Clifford. Subs used - T.J. Tierney, Conor Clifford. Tom Curtin out injured and Cian Scully out with flu.
Estuary Park was a busy spot last Saturday as it was the venue for all three games. The U10s had a comfortable win in their first round of the cup versus St. Itas, who are third in Div 2. Granagh created early chances through Ryan and Shane. As a result of a few nice passing movements from Ryan, the first goal was scored by Daragh. The second goal shot by Shane Collins, was saved by the keeper but it bounced off their own defender for an o/g. Josh and Sean were great partners at centre halves, ably assisted by James and Shane Scully. There was a tactical switch at half time with Josh moving forward where he was able to create allot of attacks. Man of the Match goes to the Goalkeeper and his four backs, but each of the eleven were outstanding. Next round away to Athea.
