Some members of the cast were invited to participate in an interview with John Prendergast on Live 95Fm last Saturday morning.
As John is an early riser for his ' In the County ' programme, we had to follow suit and try and struggle out of bed at 6.00 am to face
a minus eleven frosty morning. The Bird was the designated driver and he collected myself and Joe at 6.35am sharp.
We didn't meet too many on the roads and there were only three people in the studio at that hour. We had a good half an hour chat
and did an excerpt from the play. The interview should be coming up on their website.
We are hoping to speak to Sheila O'Regan on West Limerick 102 this week also.
Thanks to Pat Fitzgerald for calling and taking photos, he will have them up on the website www.ballingarrynews.blogspot.com
Meanwhile.....back on stage, some more new faces. Young Leamy Flanagan ( Alan Chawke) who is reportedly studying for his Junior Cert,
gets caught up in all the goings on in the pub. The Sergeant ( Richard O'Donoghue) and the Priest ( Denis Noonan) have the unenviable job
of questioning all the suspects. Even the Bishop ( Tom Noonan) is invited to their Sunday Mass to see if he encourage people to talk ??
I am a bit worried about the Widow, I don't know will she be ready at all, she is still learning her lines off.
Watch out for the lovebirds - Dandy & Bridgie McCabe ( Jimmy Sheehy & Brid O'Gorman ) they are such a romantic couple that they stand
out a mile !!
Hopefully the frost, snow and ice will have disappeared by the end of the month and we will be back to our normal weather - rain.
