We have found the solution to the economic crisis!

Dear Mr. Cowen

Please find below my suggestion for fixing Irelands economy.

Instead of giving Seven Billion Euro's to Anglo Irish Bank who will
squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the
following plan.

You can call it the Republican Retirement Plan:

There are about 1 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them 7
million Euro apiece severance for early retirement with the following
stipulations:

1) They MUST retire. One million job openings - Unemployment fixed

2) They MUST= buy a new car. One million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed

3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis
fixed

4) They MUST send their kids to school/college/university - Crime rate
fixed

5) They MUST buy 100 Euro of alcohol/tobacco a week .....and there's your
money back in duty/tax etc

It can't get any easier than that!

P.S. If more money is needed, have all members of government pay back their
falsely claimed expenses and allowances

There was no winner in the lotto draw this week.

Next weeks draw takes place in The Rock Bar for a jackpot of €5,300. It has to be won some week !

Be sure to purchase your lines for a prize of two tickets to see Ireland V Italy in Croke Park world cup qualifier on 10/10/09 plus
an overnight stay in a five star hotel in Dublin. Draw will take place on 03/10/09. Purchase your line in The Rock Bar Granagh,
Hickeys Bar Croom, O` Gormans Foodstore Granagh or from any of our committee members.

Registration for U8, U10 & U12 will take place tomorrow night Aug 6th at 7pm in the club house. U8 = €15, U10 = €15 & U12 = €20 ,
all fees are per player & include insurance.
Registration for U14 & U16 will take place on Fri eve Aug 7th at 7pm in the club house. U14 = €25 & U16 = €25 all fees are per player
& include insurance.
Note - it is very important that all players are registered over the two nights as the forms must be returned to the Desmond school boys/girls
league prior to any game being played. Failure to do so will result in a fine being imposed by the league.
