U10:
On Saturday the 28th our U10 team finally got back into action after their long break.
With weather conditions ideal and a strong Ferry Rangers team for opponents we were in store for a fine game, and this is exactly what we got. From the very start of this game both teams got stuck in and a very even contest was being played until Richard Walsh gave a great cross to Gearoid Lynch who made no mistake with his finish to put Granagh in front and make the half time score 1-0 to Granagh.
With the second half under way Granagh started to open the Ferry defence with their wide play, and after ten minutes Conor O` Donoghue had his name on the score sheet, when he followed up his first shot to slot home, on a second attempt and give Granagh the full points in this 2-0 victory.

Junior: On Sunday the 1st our junior team were away to Glantine B in the league.
After about twelve minutes of play Pat Carroll took a corner kick that found its way to the back of the Glantine net and when Denis Noonan netted from a twenty yard free kick it made the half time score 2-0 to Granagh.
Mikie O Keeffe made it number three in the second half with a well slotted home shot to beat the keeper and with time almost up Denis O Connor put it beyond doubt when he found himself in front of goal and showed great composure and blasted it to the top left corner to make a 4-0 win to Granagh.

The Club would like to offer its’ sympathy to Eimhin O’ Regan and the O’ Regan family Graigacurra, on the recent death of Paddy O’ Regan, may he rest in peace.
