GRANAGH UTD. F.C:
Lotto Results: There was no winner of the E2,800. in the draw this week.
Numbers drawn were 1, 7, 11, 30.
Lucky dip winners of E 20 each were Lorraine Fitzgibbon, Granagh, Catriona McKenna Granagh, Bernard
Walsh, Ballyagran.
Next week's jackpot is E 2,900.
U12s: On Saturday 7th, our U12 team played host to Broadford Utd in a top of the table clash. Five
minutes into the game and it was Broadford that found themselves on the score sheet with a well taken free
kick, thirty yards out, that found its way to the back of the Granagh net. However, Granagh never gave up and
after ten minutes were back on level terms through an unstoppable Stephen Hickey shot. James Herlihy
got the home side ahead five minutes later, to make the half time score 2 - 1 to Granagh.
The home side started brightly in the second half and Edward Sheehy had them 3 - 1 up early in the half.
We had two more goals from Herlihy to make it a hat trick for him and goals from Kyle Cotter and Sean
Cahill, saw Granagh run out 7 - 1 victors and take top spot in division 2. Well done lads.
Well done also to the management team of Jimmy Sheehy and Timmy Cotter.
GRANAGH PLAYERS:
ONE MORE NIGHT:
The cast and crew are taking a bit of a break and I bet they are not getting a chance to sit at home every night either,
there is always so much on for everyone.
However, I do know they are still reading over their scripts for their last performance and they will give it one hundred per
cent. The cast are delighted to be able to do this extra night for the National School so that they can buy some much
needed IT equipment for them. Thanks in advance to the members of the Parents Council who will be helping out on the night.
