COMMUNITY  GAMES:
The National Finals takes place in Athlone this coming weekend and we are delighted to have four participants from the club.  So far they have done the club very proud reaching the finals and we would like to wish them all the best for the weekend.
We have Eoin Sheahan who will represent Limerick in the Boys U14 Art competition, Eve Higgins will be swimming in girls U12 competition and Sean O’Connor and Ellen Murphy will be taking part in the U14 Cross Country running.    Safe Journey and best wishes to you all.
The Community games club would like to thank all those who contributed to the Church gate collection which was held last weekend. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

DO YOU  KNOW ?

As a result of Fr. Dan's quiz recently, I thought I would pass on some of the questions : -
(1).  According to the stone over the door in Granagh Church, what Bishop dedicated the church in the 1870s ?
(2).  Fr. Dermot McCarthy died on 10th August, in what year ?    1993.   1995.   1996.
(3).  Behind the Alter in Granagh Church are three stained glass windows, depicting St. Joseph, Our Lady and the Sacred Heart -                    But which one occupies the centre window ?
