SAFETY  ALERT:

This is the time of the year to be specially alert as the number of burglaries tend to increase leading up to Christmas.   Already, a trailer  and con-saw have been stolen and outhouses have been searched.     A lot of cars pass through Granagh every day and we hardly take any notice but some of these could be checking out houses.   Take a note of reg number, make and colour if you are suspicious.   Make it as difficult as possible for thieves to gain access to your home.   Lock doors and windows before you leave and leave the radio or lights on.   Lock your car/van, even in the driveway.   Alarms act as a deterrent and a dog is a great asset, they have a remarkable sense of hearing and can alert you quickly.    Lots of dogs in the pound looking for good homes.
