YOUTH CLUB:

Congratulations to Leaders and members on their participation last Saturday, in the Youth Club
Fashion Show in Limerick. The club entered three of the five categories.
Isabelle O' Mara and Sophie Butler entered the ' Swinging Sixties' category with Isabelle modelling
her ' Woodstock ' style outfit, flowing flowery dress, bare feet, flower tattoos and her guitar. Even though
she floated down the catwalk, drugs were definitely not used !!
Jessie Stapleton and Sara Noonan entered the ' Funky Disco Seventies' category. They based their
theme on the Abba dress style, knee high white boots, glittery top, skinny jeans and lots of brightly coloured
make-up. Jessie modelled this outfit as she was the only one who fitted into those jeans....
The ' Romantic Eighties ' category was a collaboration between Kaylee, Emma, Laura, Stephanie and
Annemarie. They went for one of ' Madonnas ' looks, black velvet bustier and mini skirt, high heels and
of course the blonde hair. This outfit was modelled beautifully by Julie Brosnan.
We were all delighted when Julie was announced as overall winner on the day and she was presented with
a beautiful make-up gift box. Many thanks to Theresa Noonan for doing the girls make-up.

Next week's jackpot is € 2,100.

MATCH REPORTS:
On last Saturday, 29th the U10s travelled away to play Old Mill. All the team played very well on the
day. One goal apiece from Eoin Clifford, Dean Kenny and Sean J, ensured that the victory went to Granagh.
Final score was 3 - 1. Well Done.!
On the same morning the u14s travelled to Killaney to play their team for the second time this season. A very
close battle was fought out here, with some excellent football played by both sides. A combination of free taking
from Niall Clifford and goal scoring from Daniel Shelton resulted in a final score of 2 - 2. A fair result on the
day.
On Sunday morning, 30th, the Juniors were at home to Broadford. Granagh settled into this game very quickly,
but despite this they found it hard to find the target. After thirty minutes of play, Peter O'Donovan opened the scoring,
closely followed by Kevin Fitzgibbon, to leave it 2 - 0 at half time. Broadford got one back early in the second half,
but the Granagh lads never panicked and Peter O'donovan had them up 3 - 1 again soon after.
Pat Carroll added the fourth goal to put the result beyond doubt. It ended 4 - 1 to Granagh.

PARENTS ASSOC:

Just to make all the parish families aware, the parents' council will have Christmas Cards on sale shortly, a pack of

Congratulations to Mike Larkin's speech and drama class , who gave their year end performance of ' The Wizard of Oz ' ,
last Thursday night, before a very enthusiastic audience of parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters.!

The MC was Ciara Sheehy. Dorothy was played by Ellen Murphy, Scarecrow by Olivia Bennett, The Lion by
Mallory Hennessy and Tin Man by James Stapleton. We had two Munchkins, Loic Hennessy and Ashling Herlihy.
